MODULE ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY

In this unit we will handle the subjects of anatomy, physiology and pathology, just as energetic connections within these area's, so that there will be an overall picture. This unit is intended for people who want to do an examination.

MODULE PSYCHOLOGY / PSYCHOPATHOLOGY

In this unit, the subjects of psychology and psychopathology will be discussed, just as energetic connections in these fields, so that an overall view will arise. This module is compulsory for people who want to do an examination.

MODULE SOCIAL AND COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS

This module is a compulsory part of the training for professional aura and chakra therapist, as much as for professional intuitive physical awareness therapist. The module should be attended in the second part (from unit 3) of the training aura healing & physical awareness.

In this unit, the focus will be on becoming conscious of how you treat your clients during your healing and massage. From the first moment you are in contact with your client, social and communicative skills play a role. During the training, you will practice within the security of the institute and the group. Together with co-therapists, you have mastered the trade. What you are doing - healing and body massage - is the key here.

In this unit, we try to become more conscious of how we treat and approach the client, how we communicate and handle information, how privacy is settled, etc.
The educational institute Caduceus thinks that, before you start working as a therapist in practice, you should become conscious of your own social and communicative skills. Every therapist will give his or her own colour to the healing and the massage. We work in a professional way, and therefore we constantly ask ourselves how to treat the other person, what is the effect of our behaviour on the other person and what can be changed or improved. In other words, how can I give the best possible healing and/ or massage. This unit is made up of four evenings, and the following subjects will be discussed:

1.	Information and presentation
2.	Making and keeping contact
3.	Intake before and treatment during a healing
4.	Evaluation and closure of a healing
5.	Holding a conversation
6.	Job delineation, reference and handling bounds
7.	Ethical code and complaint regulations of the Professional Association for Holistic Energetic Therapists (B.H.E.T.)

 

MODULE SETTING UP YOUR OWN PRACTICE (part of social and communicative skills)

More and more people are starting their own practice after their training. Many of them start on a small scale and choose to build up a customer file gradually. However, already from the first client, some things are playing a role, about which you will have to think in advance and which you will have to settle.

In this unit, many issues pass in review. Considering the time available, we cannot discuss them extensively. If necessary, we will refer to other sources or authorities. Much attention will, on the other hand, be paid to those issues that are specifical for a healing and/ or massage practice.

This unit will be taught during three evenings, and after a while there will be a reunion day or evening. After the first three evenings, you will make a scheme of approach with which you will be working. This scheme, together with your first experience, will be discussed in the group at the reunion day.

During the evenings, we will work with meditation, visualization and exercises. Using a video is one of the possibilities.

 

Trainers

This module will be taken care of by Truida Harms and Bernhard van de Beek. Both have followed the aura and chakra therapist training, out of interest as well as for their own spiritual development, and both take place in workshops etc. on a regular basis.

Truida Harms has experience in the field of assistance, both as a performer and as a manager.
Bernard van de Beek has been active for years as a manager in assistance and in the social service sector. He owns a practice for professional guidance.
